This superb Birchwood 400 crusader, aft cabin cruiser has Medium V hull, very sturdy build. The hull gleams and exudes the trademark Birchwood Boats quality layup. The radar arch folds down too. Teak laid platform, steps and aft deck. Favourable survey Sept 2010. Full Engine Service - Sep 2010 at 629 HRS. Engine service 2012. Anti-fouled November 2011. New anodes April 2011 (spare set of aluminium anodes). Boat Safety Certificate Valid from September 2010 to 2014. A rear view camera and side mirrors have been added to make berthing this boat childs play. This boat has hadt about £18,000 on updates over the last couple of years.

Birchwood boats have always been associated with quality build and design and this Birchwood 400 Crusader epitomises this fact. This boat has a great combination of elegance and sturdyness. In this day and age of economic prudence she ticks all the boxes too. Her Volvo engines are not too juicy but still have enough grunt to do the job. The interior is comfortable and well appointed, allowing for 3 good double berths. She is an ideal family boat and would make a good houseboat too. Easy to handle with twin engines and bowthruster, rear view camera, side mirrors make her a delight to helm from the flybridge or interior helm. There has been approximately £17,000 on updating her navigation gear, servicing the engines, antifouling, changing anodes, new canopy covers and safety equipment etc over the last couple of years. She now has a boat safety certificate too and a favourable survey. So you can be confident that she is a good investment. Sensibly priced too. Her owners have had an unforseen opportunity come their way and that is the reason she is 'for sale'.
