I have been involved with anything water based for as long as I can remember, many of my first memories involved sailing with my family around the south coast in our Wayfarer. I was lucky enough to learn to sail in Greek waters and since then have taken every opportunity to be in or around the water. After graduating with a degree at Portsmouth University studying Digital Media, the opportunity arose to work for Boatshed Head Quarters in Gosport, England. I felt it was a fantastic opportunity as I was aware of Boatshed's growing reputation in the marine industry and managing to combine boats with technology was a dream job. The opportunity to run Boatshed Guernsey became available and is now operated on the ground by me, under the direction of Neil Chapman, the founder of Boatshed, and Kevin Showell Boatshed’s Finance Director and local Guernsey resident. Knowing this was a great opportunity and I jumped aboard. What we do We arrange to meet every customer onboard taking up to 70 photos and recording full details of every boat we list. With all this information on the web, Boatshed clients make a more informed decision on whether to travel to see a particular boat. Once the boat goes live it is automatically loaded onto other Boatshed offices around the world and every boat we list is featured on yachtworld.com, boatsandoutboards.com, boatshop24.com, boatshop24.co.uk, boats.com, usedboat.com and many more for maximum exposure. Our Services We offer a full brokerage service on a simple "no sale no fee" basis. We offer support, advice and guidance for both vendors and purchaser throughout the boat sales process. Working on the standard commission rate, but charge nothing until the vessel is sold by us. We also help with Marine Insurance, Finance, Yacht registration, boat transport by road or delivery by sea. We operate under the rules and codes of practice of the British Marine Federation. Since Boatshed's launch in 1998, Boatshed has won several high profile Internet awards. The Boatshed principles of "simplicity", "ease of use" and "fast loading" are strictly adhered to. In order to view the detailed photos of each boat, we require you to register your details. Once you have registered simply log in each time using just your email address. Boatshed Guernsey continues to strive to develop excellent relationships with marine businesses and boat owners on the Island. Our passion for boats coupled with the secure and professional systems that the Boatshed Yacht Brokerage Group provide, offers a new way for sellers of Guernsey craft to promote their boats to a worldwide audience.
