Farrier F-82 R

The Farrier F-82R is a trimaran design from Ian Farrier that is characterised by its folding outriggers. The consequence is that although the total width is almost 6 meters, with folded outriggers, she’s less than 2,30 wide, so she’ll fit in a normal berth and she can be transported on a trailer (no trailer included with this one). The outriggers also have a hatch on top so they can be used as storage area. The R in the model name refers to “Regatta” or “Racer”. She’s a very sporty and fast boat indeed, and has been used here by her owners mainly to take part in different regattas. Although the accommodation is somewhat Spartan, she allows for up to 4 people to spend the night on board. The berths are a bit narrow, but they still count as doubles. The boat comes with an extensive sail inventory. All the sails have only seen limited use and seem to be in good condition. British flag. Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.


El Farrier F-82R es un diseño de trimaran de Ian Farrier, caracterizado por sus cascos plegables. La consecuencia es que la manga total de casi 6 metros se reduce a menos de 2,30 cuando los cascos están plegados, permitiendo amarrar el barco en un amarre normal o transportarlo en un remolque (no incluido con este barco). Los cascos también tienen una escotilla permitiendo su uso como estiba. La letra R en la denominación del modelo refiere a “Regata”. Es un barco muy deportivo y rápido y ha sido utilizado por sus propietarios actuales principalmente para participar en varias regatas locales. Aunque el interior es algo espartano, permite pernoctar a 4 personas. Las camas me parecen un poco estrechas, pero cuentan como dobles. El barco dispone de un inventario bastante extenso de velas. Las velas no han sido utilizado intensivamente y parecen estar en buena condición. Bandera inglesa. Nota: se pueden considerar contra-ofertas.
