Broker's Comments
Here we have a Broom 37 Crown in original gelcoat dating from 1996.
She has twin Perkins 6354 Turbo engine that started and ran nicely when I photographed the boat this week.
She appears to be in a very tidy and clean condition with just the odd, small items that I noticed that could do with addressing like a missing speaker cover or small areas of discolouration on a wood panel. Other than that she appears to be a nice example of the type.
I believe this particular Broom was a special commission by her owner and the interior certainly reflects this. She is unusual in her layout and very nice for it too.
She has the trademark aft master cabin with island double and separate heads and shower compartments and plenty of storage options. The light, well-lacquered woodwork is very nice and tidy. The curved companionways leads from the aft cabin stopping off at the main saloon before continuing up to the flybridge deck in an elegant curve.
The large saloon has big picture windows that afford excellent views out and the storage and cabinetry is all very good. The saloon is convertible to make a large double too which can be useful.
The Engine bay is beneath the saloon floor accessed by several well trimmed and fitting hatches. The lower helm station is to starboard and the galley down layout to port is well equipped and has ample storage and facilities. Heading forward the large heads are to starboard and the forward offset double cabin in the bow finishes that internal layout making this a comfortable 6 berth boat or even and excellent liveaboard option.
Her flybridge is large and open plan with a folding radar arch and seating with storage under. There is a canopy over the helm station too.
The boat was last out of the water in 2024 and antifouled an d serviced and her Boat Safety Certificate runs in to 2026.
If you are looking for a quality Broom river cruiser or large spacious liveaboard then this nice vessel may well appeal.
