Broker's Comments
Well folks, I have to confess I have never come across one of these before, a steel 28 footer from the late ‘60’s. What a pretty little boat!
I was ready to be greeted by a heavy looking old bath tub and what did I find? A little darling! Just check out the main photo – I think it’s the slightly lower freeboard and classic raised coachroof that does it. Her green paintwork and sprayhood are “just right” for her. Her tan sails and dark wood call Ransome and Childers to mind. If you decide she is for you then you will need to buy a Guernsey sweater and a pipe. Absolute classic.
Well, her engine is pretty ancient, but the owners have never changed it because it has never let them down, and some of her controls are a little “idiosyncratic” shall we say? Again the owners haven’t changed them because they like them just the way they are.
The best thing to do is to come and have a look.
