A great example of the Aqua-Star 118 built in Guernsey in 1999 with the same owner from new.
Stepping below deck on this beautifully maintained 38 foot Aqua-star you immediately realise how spacious she is. There is a large U shaped saloon to Port which will comfortably seat 6 adults. This can convert to a double berth and the forward section of the Saloon seating can be tipped over to turn into forward facing seating for the large chart table. The lower dinette is a four-seater, which like the saloon can convert to a double berth and provides great storage under the seats. Starboard of the companionway entrance is a run of sideboards which contain plenty of storage, a wet bar and space for a dehumidifier, which is always in use.
The Aft master suite is located starboard of the entrance, there is plenty of storage running throughout with a range of drawers and cupboards and a large double berth situated in the centre of the cabin. The en-suite toilet provides great space and has a screened off shower compartment.
The galley again provides great use of space and has lots of storage. There is a large sink and a good sized rubbish locker. The fridge is situated below the chart table within reach of the galley.
The forward V berth cabin can provide space for 2 single berths or a double using the infill provided. There is again plenty of storage with a hanging wardrobe and lockers.
This Aqua Star 118 was subject to a Boat Report in Motor Boats Monthly, this report gives an excellent description of the boat and her features and is still available to view online in the Motor Boats Monthly Boat Report for December 1999. This is well worth a read for any one interested this boat is the one that is featured in the report.
